On most reading platforms today, user interaction is still extremely limited. Readers visit the site, read the latest chapters, leave a few short comments, and disappear. No matter how good the content is, the sense of community is often missing. Users have no collective identity, no shared goals, and very little reason to stay engaged with the platform outside of simply reading stories.
Guild System was created to change that
With Init Manga v2.7.6, users can now create their own Guilds, recruit members, build reader communities, and earn contribution points together through on-site activity. This is no longer just a cosmetic “group” feature — it is the foundation for the long-term community direction of Init Manga.
Each Guild has its own dedicated page with independent URLs, member listings, contribution statistics, and lightweight management tools. Guild identity is also integrated directly into comments and user interface areas, helping readers instantly recognize other members from the same community.
Instead of seeing anonymous usernames in the comment section, readers can now identify familiar communities, creating stronger interaction, recognition, and long-term engagement across the entire website.
Built for Performance and Scalability
Guild System in Init Manga v2.7.6 is built entirely on native WordPress architecture combined with a modern REST API approach. The system uses Custom Post Types for Guilds along with lightweight user meta and post meta storage instead of relying on heavy custom database structures or overly complex architectures.

This provides several important advantages:
- Excellent compatibility with standard WordPress hosting environments
- Easier expansion for future community-related features
- Stable performance even on high-traffic websites
- Reduced maintenance complexity and cleaner long-term architecture
In addition, the Guild system follows a REST-first design philosophy, making future feature expansion cleaner and more flexible while preserving a lightweight and maintainable codebase.
What Guild System Currently Supports
- Create Guilds using Coin
- Minimum level requirements for Guild creation
- Join and leave Guilds
- Kick and blacklist members
- Responsive Guild archive pages
- Dedicated single Guild pages
- Guild identity integration in comments and dashboard UI
- Contribution point foundation for future community systems
- Custom Guild URL slugs
How to Enable Guild System
By default, Guild System is disabled after updating to ensure backward compatibility with existing websites.
To enable the Guild system:
- Go to Init Manga → Settings
- Enable the Enable Guild System option
- Configure Guild creation fee, level requirements, and slug if needed
- Go to Settings → Permalinks
- Click Save Changes to flush rewrite rules
After completing these steps, the Guild system will automatically become active across the website.
The Beginning of a More Connected Reading Experience
Guild System in Init Manga v2.7.6 is only the first phase, focused on building the core social foundation: community identity, reader interaction, and stronger engagement between users across the platform.
Future updates will continue refining the system with additional community-oriented mechanics and group interaction features designed specifically for collaborative reading experiences.
Init Manga is not only focused on making reading more convenient.
The larger goal is to build an ecosystem where readers can connect, interact, and stay engaged with the communities they truly enjoy.
