Minimum Requirements for Init Manga: Standardized Environment for Smooth Operation

This document provides detailed information about the required WordPress, PHP, and database versions, along with the standard deployment environment where Init Manga is currently running in production.

Minimum Requirements

The mandatory specifications for installing and using Init Manga:

• WordPress: 6.3 or higher
• Tested up to: WordPress 6.9
• PHP: 7.4 or higher
• Database: MySQL ≥ 8.0 or MariaDB ≥ 10.2

Standard Deployment Environments

In real-world infrastructure deployed by Init HTML for clients, Init Manga operates on two standard environments as follows:

LEMP Environment (Linux + Nginx + MariaDB + PHP-FPM)

• Operating System: Ubuntu Server 24.04 LTS
• Web Server: Nginx 1.28.0
• PHP Version: 8.3.6 (64-bit)
• Database Extension: mysqli + mysqlnd 8.3.6
• Database Server: MariaDB 11.8.5

OLS Environment (OpenLiteSpeed + MariaDB + LSCache)

• Operating System: Ubuntu Server 24.04 LTS

Both environments fully meet Init Manga’s performance and compatibility requirements, and can be selected based on your infrastructure and deployment goals.

Additional Recommendations

To ensure stable operation and fully leverage Init Manga’s AI-native features, the following are recommended:

• Complete PHP extensions commonly required for WordPress: mbstring, intl, curl, json, dom, xml, zip, gd or imagick, mysqli/pdo_mysql, opcache.
• PHP 8.1 or higher; memory_limit ≥ 256MB (512MB recommended), max_execution_time ≥ 60s, upload_max_filesize/post_max_size ≥ 32MB.
• For manga/comic sites: increase upload_max_filesize/post_max_size to ≥ 128MB, max_file_uploads ≥ 100 (or adjust depending on the number of images per chapter as required by your site).
• HTTPS (SSL/TLS) properly configured on Nginx/Apache for security and performance.
• Cron jobs must run reliably:
  • Prefer system cron calling WP-CLI or wp-cron.php every 5 minutes.
  • If relying on WP-Cron, ensure it is not blocked by caching/proxy layers.
• Pretty Permalinks & WordPress REST API must be enabled for AI features and synchronization.
• Write permissions granted for wp-content/uploads (and wp-content/cache if using caching plugins).

Note: Most modern WordPress hosting and VPS environments already meet these requirements out of the box.

Compatibility Notes

Init Manga does not support outdated environments such as MySQL 5.7, PHP 5.x, or WordPress below 6.3. These systems may cause errors and poor performance, and are officially excluded from support.
